This filter wheel for astronomical telescopes is a must-have for astronomers, for both visual and photographic use with many telescopes equipped for 1.25" accessories.Up to five 1.25" filters can be installed in the threaded, numbered compartments, and each can be selected for your eyepiece or camera by simply rotating the inner wheel to any of the five click-stop positions. One compartment can be left empty for unfiltered viewing.The filter wheel can be attached to your focuser either by the supplied 1.25” nosepiece adaptor or via a T-thread.The robustly constructed filter wheel is supplied with a 1.25” eyepiece adaptor, 1.25” focuser nosepiece, T-2 camera adaptor and locking ring.Please note: your focuser will require 20mm of inward focusing distance from the normal focus position to compensate for the thickness of the filter wheel.
Skywachers OVL 5 Position Filter Wheel I have been meaning to treat myself to a filter wheel for planetary visual observation but was always held back because they were to expensive. However, “finally at a sensible price”, i am now the proud owner of a Skywachers OVL 5 Position Filter Wheel….in fact two to be precise because I was so impressed with both product finish and build quality. These filter wheels will cater for all my 1.25 different brand filters…and was really please with all the additional adapters, and that fact one of these adapters can cater for my future camera.
