Product Description

The GPCAM2 327C is a colour CMOS camera with extremely high sensitivity designed for video astronomy. It replaces your telescope eyepiece and comes with AltairCapture and SharpCap PRO software which enable live video stacking.

The GPCAM2 327C can also be used for deepsky imaging and solar system imaging of the moon, planets and especially for capturing meteors with an allsky camera dome.

The Sony IMX327 STARVIS Back Side Illuminated (BSI) sensor is extremely sensitive and the camera is powered by a USB2.0 cable enabling long cable lengths commonly used in EAA (Electronically Assisted Astronomy), and access to this sensor at a very reasonable price.

The camera is powered by a USB2.0 cable, enabling the longer cable lengths, and USB2.0 compatibility preferred for EAA (Electronically Assisted Astronomy). The USB connector is heavy duty and will not pull out easily like cheaper cameras, maintaining better contact as your GOTO telescope traverses the sky.
