A premium dielectric coated diagonal for telescopes which is small and compact with superb machining and a super-hard black anodised chassis and silver side plates. Outstanding performance and all the optical and mechanical quality you'd expect from a premium diagonal. A non marring compression ring and easy grip thumbscrew ensures the eyepiece is secured well and perfectly central.

A quality diagonal is a significant upgrade to the optical train of a telescope, light is bent at 90 degrees accurately with the precision machined housing. The valuable incoming light from your telescopes is reflected off the 99% reflective mirror coating for bright clear images, dielectric coatings are not only durable but will not lose reflectivity over time like aluminium coatings.

  Excellent diagonal and service.  For a relatively cheap dielectric diagonal this is very well made and solid. The the compression rsing feels like it would hold the heaviest eyepieces and the taper on the barrel prevents it falling out of the tube.   Prompt delivery, nice product.  Item delivered in good time. Very well packed. Looks to be solid and of good quality.. . The actual screw to tighten lense into the diagonal , constricts a metal band to hold in place rather then screwing straight into side of lense.   Quality makes a difference  This is an excellent piece of kit and I originally contemplated buy a cheaper more plastic model but I thought I need long term and durability so when with the Altair diagonal and I don't regret it one bit.
