The Altair Lightwave premium Long Eye Relief zoom eyepiece has a very well corrected and wide 40° - 60° apparent field of view. The 8-24mm focal length will provide views of a variety of objects without having to carry several eyepieces, making it ideal for travel with Lightwave or other 60 or 80mm refractors. The Long Eye Relief means you can position your eye 18mm from the eyepiece lens, making this is a comfortable eyepiece for beginners and experienced observers alike, while still being compatible with eyeglasses. A 9-element computer optimized design makes the most of the fully multi-coated optics to provide exceptional contrast and clarity across a wide visual field. Threaded for use with standard 1.25" eyepiece filters.
