Our well-proven UNI tripods for astronomers are excellent working tools offering a significant improvement over OEM tripods in terms of damping and looks. With the included attachable tray (37 cm) an angle of inclination of approximately 23° can be achieved. Furthermore you can use a steel chain (also included in the delivery). Ash wood is renowned for it's suitability as a material for use in tripods, better damping than metal and they look great to.
