Celestron StarSense autoalign accessory allows your Celestron computerised telescope to align itself, in just three minutes your telescope will be aligned and ready to start viweing objects from the onboard database. Automatic alignment of Celestron Goto Telescopes in just three minutes, this techmology aligns your telescope for you accurately on the night skywith the built in starsense camera.With Celestron’s patented StarSense Technology, telescope alignment has never been easier: set up your telescope, press Align on the StarSense hand control, and sit back and relax. StarSense uses an onboard digital camera to scan the sky and take three pictures. It then analyzes these pictures against an internal database (similar to fingerprint matching) and automatically aligns the telescope. The entire process takes about three minutes, and needs absolutely no user involvement.StarSense Autoalign uses its own StarSense hand control, which comes packaged with the StarSense Accessory. Simplifies And Speeds Up The Alignment Process Firstly, prompt delivery from Harrison Telescopes that can't be faulted. The StarSense device itself is easy to install and calibrate. Excellent Product - Straight Forward Set Up Bought the Starsense to complement my Advanced VX mount and C6S. Easy to install, straightforward to set up and update with CFM. Seeing on first night of use was pretty poor but it still managed to find enough alignment stars to allow a calibration to my scope. Celestron StarSense Accessory This has been a very welcome item to my bits and pieces and really takes a few minutes to get up and running. Only problems have been caused by human error but after a few uses everything is now spot on. Update was available on Celestron website and that went without a hitch. Excellent service.
