The body material is constructed from magnesium alloy making the binocular extremely lightweight for an instrument of this size, whilst maintaining a very robust structure. The body is covered in stylish protective rubber armouring.Features high-index BaK-4 prisms and a fully broadband multi-coated optical system. Caged prisms offer a very good level of shock resistance. The high-resolution optical system features high-transmission lens and prism coatings allowing a massive light throughput equal to or exceeding 90%. The lens coatings have an extremely low level of reflectivity, ensuring the maximum amount of precious light is provided at the eyepiece. Images delivered are vibrant, very flat edge-to-edge and virtually distortion free.The advanced, innovative eyepiece design (8 elements in 5 groups) features oversized eye lens elements for comfortable viewing and provides a highly corrected image.
