Home Binoculars Solar Binoculars Lunt Mini White Light 6x30 Solar Eclipse Binoculars
This truly pocket sized binoculars with 6x magnification are only for solar observing. You can view and safely study large Sun-spots, transits and solar eclipses. The Sun's image shows in a pleasing orange colour, rather in a harsh blue-white, as it does in some other white light filters.Lunt Mini SUNoculars have White-Light filter film installed inside the binoculars. This makes solar observation 100% safe. The light of the sun is reduced to a comfortable 0.00001% transmission and all ultra-violet and infrared components are completely and safely blocked. Lunt SUNoculars are manufactured to the same standards of safety typical to the entire family of Lunt Solar products - the premier manufacturer of Solar telescopes and filters.FeaturesMagnification: 6x Objective lens diameter: 30mm Eye relief: 9mm Transmission: 0.00001% (OD5) Filter type: Solar film, CE certified Length: 105mm Width: 110mm Weight: 160gIncluded Mini SUNoculars in blister pack Strap

Just the job. Rapid and reliable service. Eclipse 2017 Paducah,Il., USA here I come! Only slightly smaller than my ideal size, but very natural & cool view (both senses) of a full sun. Individual focusing is useful. I have added a sun shield for extra safety and comfort (OK so its just a square of cardboard with 2 holes) for the sunoculars (11/08/2017) Steve - UK
Good for Solar Eclipse These binoculars provide a good and safe way of viewing the sun during a solar eclipse. The image tends more towards the orange than white but is fine for eclipse viewing. They are constructed well and are small enough to not take up too much room in the luggage. (11/08/2017) Geoff - Manchester, UK
Sturdy, well made and functional Bought for watching the USA eclipse in August. Ideal for my kids to use due to small size. Whilst they are limited in terms of magnification and ability to view sun spots, they will be excellent for viewing the partial phases of the eclipse. Narrow field of view but can still be used safely (04/07/2017) Paul P - UK
