SCT T Adapter Low Profile

Product Description

The SCT to T thread adapter let's you attach your DSLR cameras with a T-Ring (see related products) or Altair Hypercam (which has a female T2-Thread) to your Celestron or Meade Schmidt Cassegrain telescope commonly referred to as "SCT" thread.

The adapter has an SCT Female Thread on one side, and a T2 / T-Thread Male thread on the other side. Schmidt Cassegrain Reducers, OAGs and some filter wheels also have the SCT thread so this is a handy accessory for any Celestron owner.

Ultra Low Profile
The converter increases the optical path length by just 1.0mm, which is quite a minor amount and within the tolerance of most flatteners and reducers as well as providing better clearance when using a DSLR.

Easy Grip
A special "Easy Grip" scalloped outer ring makes the ring easier to tighten or loosen to reduce sag between your camera and telescope. The Easy Grip feature makes it easy to attach and detach without getting the adapter "stuck" and it acts as a flange upon which to align the components accurately, without flex.
