The optical design uses only the highest gradse of glasses available, this combined with a very robust and quality tube assembly results in a very fine instrument that will satisfy even the most discriminating user.The 3" diameter linear focuser performs superbly for imaging or precise focusing visually - avoiding the often costly exercise of focuser upgrades we see so often on lesser models, a remarkable acheivement of optical and mechanical engineering available at an equally remarkable price.
The ESPRIT Super Apo Triplets are designed for the most demanding astro-imagers but are also fine telescopes for visual observations often outperforming telescopes far larger of lesser designs.
