A star diagonal is designed for comfortable viewing with astronomical telescopes, the 90 degree angle allows the telescope to be pointed at high angles whilst the eyepiece remains easily accessable. The 1.25" diagonal simply pushes in the standard focuser of any refractor or catadioptric telescope that accepts 1.25" accessories. For terrestrial or daytime views an erecting 45 degree diagonal is recommended.Please note diagonals are not suitable for Newtonian reflectors.
Very good product. I purchased this to replace an older Meade product. This is very well made and really good value. I've bought several items from Harrisons over the years and I've always found them to be much cheaper than elsewhere. The service is also excellent. Items arrive within a day or two. skywatcher diagonal Its the base model 90 degree diagonal and is almost a tenner cheaper at Harrisons than at Telescope house, the other stockist. The diagonal is good for the price, and was delivered the next day before lunchtime, after I ordered it the night before at 8pm. How do they do that? (15/11/2020) Peter Power - Poole, Dorset.
