Very happy with my 9x50 Right Angled Finder. It arrived in good time carefully packed with no damage. I haven’t used it yet (my last star watching session was cancelled due to poor weather.) Sky watcher should ship this with their telescopes It clouds over every time it gets dark atm so I've only had chance to line this up with my telescope in the day but it really is night and day compared to the straight through that came with the telescope, I can rotate the telescope while looking through the finder now. Very happy As a 70 year old newbie to astronomy, I was finding it very difficult to use a straight through star finder. So I purchased a red dot finder. does what is says on the tin Quality product, only issue was it arrives unboxed and no instructions. Initially thought focusing mech was broken. Quickly sorted by customer services who sent a graphic instruction. With instructions ir would have been given 5. Great upgrade I’m new to astronomy, so still trying to find what works for me. I have a 150/750 Dobsonian which came supplied with a basic red dot Finder. Skywatcher upgrade EVERYONE should do!! We needed to replace a 6x30 finder scope. This 9x50 is unbelievable and not only makes the alignment procedure far easier, it makes you use the scope much more as the finder itself gives such rewarding viewing. Good value and a very useful tool I am very happy with this Finder scope. It has a good field of view and I find it much easier to use than a red dot type as a spectacles wearer. It is easy to adjust the eyepiece position and to align with the telescope. The attachment shoe has to be bought separately, which is a bit disappointing. I recently brough the SkyWatcher 9x50 Right Angled I recently brough the SkyWatcher 9x50 Right Angled Erect Image Finder accompanied with Bracket for my recently perched SkyWatcher Evostar 150ED DS-PRO Refractor. A really well built viewfinder, clear optical path, clean cross hairs, I was particularly impressed with the spring loaded alignment system built into the mounting bracket…a very nice feature, and further prevents zero slippage of the view finder when in mounting bracket. On a final note, “Why I never bothered using right angle viewfinder before, I will never know”.
