Home Accessories SkyWatcher Accessories SkyWatcher EQ1 Single Axis Motor Drive
A motor drive for SkyWatcher EQ1 equatorial mounts that allows the telescope to track objects in the night sky. This compact RA motor unit fits easily to the mount and takes away the frustration of manually tracking at high magnifications.
The motor unit has an on / off switch and power light with a North South switch for operation in both hemispheres. There is also an adjuster to fine tune the tracking rate of the motor. Can be fitted to any of our telescopes supplied with the EQ1 equatorial mount. Provides single-speed (1x Sidereal) motor tracking of the R.A. axis. Battery-powered.
Excellent service and a competitive price. I bought the EQ1 motor drive to power an equatorial wedge for a Dobsonian telescope. The unit was competitively priced and turned up quickly. Thank you. (29/01/2024) Pete - Oxfordshire

Another good purchase from Harrison’s Telescopes Bought this for a friend for Christmas and he said it works very well with his eq 2 mount. Easy to fix to mount and calibrated spot on. He said that the only downside is that it’s battery operated. I told him with a little thought he could adapt it with a 9v dc power unit. Great job Harrison’s.
