The HM5 Polar axis finder scope is a very useful accessory for EQ5 & EQ6/NEQ6 SkyWatcher equatorial mounts. It speeds up and refines the polar alignment procedure so the observer can spend more valuable time observing, rather than setting up. The new HM5 Polarscope is usable in both Northern and Southern Hemispheres. This useful accessory is especially useful for astro imaging where accurate alignment is essential.Also fits EQ6 mounts
Solid Polarscope Bought to use as a modification for my Omegon Mini Track LX2, bought a cheaper inferior scope at first but wouldn't fit correctly. Omegon recommended it and due to its metal build and felt easier to fit but was also delighted with its optical performance with glass installed. Well worth the money. Exactly as required I needed a new polar alignment scope because the reticle on my old one was damaged. The new one fits perfectly (of course) but has a new reticle which took a bit of gett8ng used to. The scope arrived in just a couple of days. (22/02/2019) -
