This NEW StellaMira 86mm f/7 ED quadruplet flatfield refractor is designed primarily for astrophotography, but can also be fitted with an optional Star Diagonal and eyepiece for visual astronomy.

Fully multi-coated quadruplet optics, with two ED lens elements, deliver high-contrast views with a flat field and very low chromatic aberration.

A built-in field flattener eliminates field curvature, providing a flat field with pin-sharp stars right into the edges, even up to full-frame. This type of built-in field flattener means you do not need to buy any additional, separate accessories to achieve a perfectly flat field and also means you do not have to worry about achieving a specific back focus distance—so long as you are in focus, your images will be nice and flat.

An optically matched StellaMira 0.8x Reducer is also available. It enables astrophotography at f/5.6 with an evenly illuminated imaging circle that covers sensor sizes up to full-frame.

The sturdy 3.2" Rack & Pinion dual-speed focuser with 1:10 fine focusing and integral rotator provides excellent load-bearing capacity and precise focus adjustments.

CNC-machined aluminium tube and fittings provide high strength and rigidity.

The price includes CNC tube rings, a Losmandy-style dovetail mounting bar, a carry handle with finder show clamp, M68/M54/M48 camera adapters and an aluminium carry case.
