A spare Telrad finder base plate for attaching the award winning Telrad red dot finder on a telescope, although the Telrad is supplied with one base this extra one allows the Telrad to be used on more than one telescope. This plate simply attaches via the screw holes or supplied adhesive pads and can be left permanently on your instrument.
This spare base saves the expense of buying more than one finder if you own two or more telescopes, the simple quick release dovetail system with hand tightening thumbscrews means that the Telrad attaches in seconds and retains allignment well.
Useful way to improve sighting accuracy I already have a Telrad, and it is great for setting up my larger scope. Just buying a second plate for my other one means I get far greater reliability than the old dot pointer that came with it (and keeps getting knocked)for little extra cost.
